Adult Ministries

“Discipleship is about how we live; not just the decisions we make, not just the things we believe, but a state of being.”

-Rowan Williams, Being Disciples

As adults, we are still growing in our faith. Our ministries for adults aim to provide opportunities for encouraging growth by bringing people in similar life stages together and by building bridges so that we can learn from others who are in a different season of life. We have two different kinds of small groups: Connection Groups and Covenant Groups. We also plan classes and retreats for more in-depth reflection on a particular topic. Check out this page for updates about future classes, retreats, and group meetings.

Connection Groups

Our Connection Groups are moving online. We will post gatherings on the events page for the groups.

Covenant Groups

Covenant groups are groups of 8 to 10 adults who meet in each others’ homes or at Knox for fellowship, study, prayer, and service. Covenant groups commit to meeting bi-weekly or monthly for at least nine months. Many of the groups are inter-generational. If you are interested in joining a covenant group contact our pastoral intern Phil King at to find a group.

Quarterly Groups

Beginning Wednesday, April 29, join Pastor Matt for an introduction to Knox Presbyterian Church–our history, our beliefs, and our mission. The group will meet on Zoom Wednesday evenings beginning at 6:00 pm for five weeks. These group meetings are a way to meet others who are new to Knox and find ways to connect more with our community. Animate: Practices Study Group

Beginning Sunday, April 26, we will start our third Animate series. The group will meet on Zoom Sunday evenings beginning at 6:30 pm for six weeks. See the video below for a taste of what this series will cover. Sign up here.
