Adult Ministries

“Discipleship is about how we live; not just the decisions we make, not just the things we believe, but a state of being.”

-Rowan Williams, Being Disciples

As adults, we are still growing in our faith. Our ministries for adults aim to provide opportunities for encouraging growth by bringing people in similar life stages together and by building bridges, so that we can learn from others who are in a different season of life. We have two different kinds of small groups: Connection Groups and Covenant Groups. We also plan classes and retreats for more in-depth reflection on a particular topic. Check out this page for updates about future classes, retreats, and group meetings.

Connection Groups

These groups meet once as frequently as once a week to once every other month. Connection groups are always open. They gather people with either similar interests on in similar life stages.

Covenant Groups

Covenant groups are groups of 8 to 10 adults who meet in each others’ homes or at Knox for fellowship, study, prayer, and service. Covenant groups commit to meeting bi-weekly or monthly for at least nine months. Many of the groups are inter-generational.
