Adult Ministries

“Discipleship is about how we live; not just the decisions we make, not just the things we believe, but a state of being.”

-Rowan Williams, Being Disciples

As adults, we are still growing in our faith. Our ministries for adults aim to provide opportunities for encouraging growth by bringing people in similar life stages together and by building bridges so that we can learn from others who are in a different season of life. We have two different kinds of small groups: Connection Groups and Covenant Groups. We also plan classes and retreats for more in-depth reflection on a particular topic. Check out this page for updates about future classes, retreats, and group meetings.

Connection Groups

If you would like more information about these groups, visit the table on the patio following the worship service.

Lenten Groups

While Knox continues to take precautions in light of COVID-19, we want to offer our Lenten Small Groups space to connect online. Please contact Phil King, our Pastoral Intern (, for more information and details about our digital platform.

Covenant Groups

Covenant groups are groups of 8 to 10 adults who meet in each others’ homes or at Knox for fellowship, study, prayer, and service. Covenant groups commit to meeting bi-weekly or monthly for at least nine months. Many of the groups are inter-generational. If you are interested in joining a covenant group contact Jarrod Phipps to help coordinate which group might be the best fit for you.
