Adult Ministries

“Discipleship is about how we live; not just the decisions we make, not just the things we believe, but a state of being.”

-Rowan Williams, Being Disciples

As adults, we are still growing in our faith. Our ministries for adults aim to provide opportunities for encouraging growth by bringing people in similar life stages together and by building bridges so that we can learn from others who are in a different season of life. We have two different kinds of small groups: Connection Groups and Covenant Groups. We also plan classes and retreats for more in-depth reflection on a particular topic. Check out this page for updates about future classes, retreats, and group meetings.

Connection Groups

The next meeting of Brothers K will be Wednesday, February 9 at 7 pm. We will be reading the Award-winning book  The Great War and Modern Memory, by Paul Fussell.

Covenant Groups

Covenant groups are groups of 8 to 10 adults who meet in each others’ homes or at Knox for fellowship, study, prayer, and service. Covenant groups commit to meeting bi-weekly or monthly for at least nine months. Many of the groups are inter-generational. If you are interested in joining a covenant group contact Pastor Ally.

Quarterly Groups

Animate Bible

Starting Sunday, January 17, from 7 to 8:30 pm,  we will begin a six-week exploration of the Bible. The Bible can sometimes feel archaic and inaccessible. What do we need to do to uncover and understand the richness of the Bible? This class gives us a jumping off point to dive into the questions about scripture that we may have never had the opportunity or space to explore or ask. If you are interested in joining the group contact Pastor Ally at for the Zoom details and a participants journal.
