Knox’s Missions Committee invites you to a special Christmas shopping event. Ten Thousand Villages is a nonprofit organization specializing in fair trade, ethically-sourced, hand-crafted artisan products from around the world produced by under-resourced communities. They have a storefront at 567 South Lake Avenue, and have a number of holiday items for sale. On Tuesday, December 9th, from 4 to 6 p.m., 15% of all the proceeds from items purchased at Ten Thousand Villages will be donated to Knox Presbyterian Church. In addition, if you purchase items at another date or time prior to December 24th, just mention Knox Presbyterian Church – and we’ll also get the 15% donation.
