Each year, at the end of January, volunteers count and administer a survey to our neighbors living on the streets of Pasadena. The results of this survey not only impact our broader awareness of homelessness, but how local and national services are directed to best meet the needs of neighbors experiencing or are most vulnerable to homelessness.
The 2026 count will take place January 21st-22nd, and Patrick Perry will be serving as Knox’s team leader. To volunteer for the count, click the registration link here. We will also be collecting 250 rain ponchos (disposable clear plastic with hood for adults) over the holidays to distribute during the Homeless Count. If you would like to donate ponchos in packs of 5, 10, or more, you can do so anytime until December 17th by putting them under the Knox Mission Tree.
