Indoor Worship

Join us for indoor worship Sundays at 10:00 am.

Knox’s sanctuary doors are open for in-person worship. You may choose to worship inside the Knox sanctuary or continue streaming our service through our Livestream page.

If you would like to worship in our sanctuary, here are a few things to keep in mind:

Before Sunday
You no longer need to pre-register in order to attend the worship service in person. There will still be a sign-in for attendance and contact tracing of those on campus each week, but that will be done upon arrival at the Welcome Table (not required in advance).

When You Arrive

  • For everyone’s safety, we ask that every person wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available at the welcome table throughout the service.
  • If you are experiencing symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the last 10 days, we ask you to join us online instead of entering the sanctuary.
  • Bulletins with the order of service and song lyrics are provided contact-free via QR code at the check-in station, to be scanned and viewed in digital format on your device.

During the Service

  • During the service, we will be singing together, wearing masks. We know that not everyone will feel comfortable singing without masks just yet, as we are all getting used to changes at different rates. The Session agreed that easing into these changes would be prudent.
  • We will be keeping the shakers as a part of the musical worship times since those have been a fun addition to our recent in-person services.
  • If you are vaccinated, feel free to take off your mask outside the Sanctuary, and you no longer need to keep 6ft apart. However, we do encourage you to ask folks before you give a physical greeting such as hugs or handshakes since some folks are not comfortable with that type of proximity just yet. The guidelines for unvaccinated people both inside and outside the Sanctuary (ages 2 and up) remain the same – wearing masks and keeping 6ft distance.
  • Children can be checked in with Knox Kids at the beginning of the service. Our nursery (ages 3 and under) will be inside the Atrium.
  • On Communion Sundays, Communion will be served outside as we exit. Our Deacons and Elders are discussing what Communion will look like in the Fall and will make changes in accordance with the Re-Entry Task Force’s recommendations.

Safety Measures

  • The HVAC filters have been changed, and we will leave doors open during the service to increase ventilation.
  • The sanctuary has been thoroughly dusted and cleaned following the pew refinishing.
  • Hand sanitizer will be available around the campus.
  • Clorox wipes will be available in the restrooms.
