Born and raised in Glendora, CA, Ashley attended Azusa Pacific University and received her degree in Childhood Development from Citrus College. With over 15 years of experience working with children, she started her career directing afterschool programming for children in disadvantaged communities. Before coming to Knox, she worked with special-needs kids at a speech clinic using a neuroscience computer program. She has always been involved in children’s ministry throughout her career and has served as Children’s Ministry Director at two previous churches. Ashley currently lives in Glendora with her husband, Garrett, and their two boys, Cole and J.T. You can typically find their family at the baseball field, a high school football game, or riding Pirates at Disneyland for the millionth time! If you ever see her alone, which is rare– she will be curled up with a good book and a BIG cup of coffee.
