Francisco Ruiz

Francisco is delighted to be joining the Knox community. He has been involved in music ministry for about 20 years, working with various youth groups and churches in Ecuador, Boston, Los Angeles, and all over the United States. During his career, he had the privilege of working with some of his musical idols, such as Bobby McFerrin, U2, Noel Schajris (Sin Bandera), Luis Enrique, and many others. He graduated from Berklee College of Music and is completing his Master’s in Choral Conducting from Cal State LA this year.

One of his greatest passions is teaching and mentoring in vocal music. For over a decade, he has been a vocal educator, traveling and sharing his knowledge in vocal improvisation, circle singing, and creating safe spaces for musical exploration and transformation.

He is thrilled to be a part of the Knox Pasadena family and to share his love for music with the congregation.
