William, a Kenya native, and a culturally African bilingual person was raised in a multi-ethnic family. He came to faith in his teen years and is now married to his wife, Magdalene, a medical family therapist trainee. Together they parent their children, their seven-year-old daughter, Jessica, and their two-year-old son, Jeff. William obtained his master’s degree in Intercultural Studies from Fuller Theological Seminary. In addition to being an elder at Knox, he is an ordained minister and a founding co-director of Amani Complex International, a young faith-based non-profit seeking justice and shalom for at-risk children and their families.
