“The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.” Psalm 24:1
Knox Presbyterian Church has been certified as an “Earth Care Congregation” by the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s Presbyterian Hunger Program through February 2026. We are part of a dedicated network of congregations focused on integrating earth care into all aspects of church life.
This certification recognizes our commitment to caring for God’s creation through active ministry in worship, education, facilities, and community outreach. Knox is dedicated to environmental stewardship, which is demonstrated through our initiatives, such as a battery recycling program, a compost bin, solar panels, and LED lighting. Additionally, our sustainability team actively educates the congregation and seeks new ways to promote responsible stewardship of the earth God entrusted us.
Our commitment not only enriches our church community but also inspires those around us to value and protect God’s creation.
