Youth Ministries

Every student asks three major questions: “Who am I?” “Do I matter?” and “Does anybody care?”

Our youth ministry focuses on helping students answer these three questions by welcoming them into fun, creative environments to deepen their relationship with God and others.

Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings (except for the first Sunday of the month), middle school and high school students join in worship with the larger church. After the children’s sermon, they are dismissed to the Northside House for middle school and high school specific small groups. On the first Sunday of the month, middle school and high school students remain in the worship service for the sermon and communion.

Sunday Nights

Branch youth group meets every Sunday night (from August to May) from 6:30 pm to  8:00 pm. Students are invited to come hang out, play games, hear a message and spend time sharing together in small groups. On the first Sunday night of each month from 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm, instead of regular Branch program, we have Living RoomLiving Room is a low-key hang out focused on helping the students build deeper relationships with one another across middle school and high school and with their leaders.

JULY 26 – 30

Houseboats is an annual summer camp put on by Knox and Glendale Presbyterian Church Student Ministries.  Each summer we take 60 plus students to Lake Don Pedro where they get an opportunity to completely unplug!

We unplug from technology and plug into relationships and FUN!  Each day the students have several opportunities to water ski and go tubing!  Don’t worry, if you have never done this before, we have a beginner’s boat and teacher who will teach you each step you need to take to get up on the ski!  Our boat drivers are fully licensed and skilled at creating a fun and safe experience for our students.

We build in a lot of free time for students to just spend time together swimming/floating/relaxing.  We also bring counselors with us who love spending time with our students.  Oh, and we bring a chef, nurse, lifeguard, worship leader, guest speaker and program director with us too!  It is a full crew for a full camp experience!
