Sustainability Hike at Ernest E. Debs Regional Park

Join the Knox Sustainability Team on Saturday, February 11, for a turtle-paced hike, ~2.25 mi. RT, with ~350 ft elevation gain/loss on the Ernest E. Debs Regional Park. We will meet at the Knox parking lot at 9 a.m. to carpool to the Audubon Center, where we will stop for an orientation. Claire will lead the hike from the trailhead there to the reservoir at the summit of the park, where we’ll commune with the pond turtles, take in the views, and talk about native California flora and fauna, especially the birds of Debs Park, many of which we hope to spot along the trail.

Wear sturdy walking or hiking shoes. Bring water, sun protection, and a jacket.
