The church in America has a complicated history with racism. Historian Jemar Tisby outlines the historical roots of racism and injustice in the Christian church in his book, “The Color of Compromise.” Join this Summer book discussion on the 4th Tuesday of the month, from 7-8:30 pm on Zoom, as Tisby “provides an in-depth diagnosis for a racially divided American church and suggests ways to foster a more equitable and inclusive environment among God’s people.” We will discuss sections of the book as follows: June 28th – Chapters 1 – 4, July 26th – Chapters 5 – 8, and August 23rd – Chapters 9 – Conclusion.
